Many people that are new to birds, often ask us why we use stainless steel for our toy line. 
Universally known to be SAFE and NON-TOXIC for parrots, stainless steel is the number 1 choice for parrot toys.
Other metals still used in some toys (brass, zinc, copper, iron, etc) are not safe for birds and can lead to Heavy Metal Poisoning.
We use top quality food and marine grade 304 and 316 stainless steel.

I'm located in the US. Do you ship to the US?
*We certainly do! In fact, we ship across the United States several times a week. In the rare event of duty or tax owing at delivery, Avian Stainless is not responsible for these fees.

Do you ship toys Internationally?
*Yes; we ship world-wide! Avian Stainless has customers all over Europe, the UK, Australia and Asia. Additional postage fees typically apply, depending on weight/order size. Is this event, we bill International customers prior to shipping. All Duties, Taxes, brokerage fees or any levies due on arrival, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Is Avian Stainless a Hobby store?
No! Avian Stainless is not a hobby.
We're a full time business, with regular business hours and a dedicated team that works hard to produce top quality parrot toys.

Are all of your toys welded?
Yes! Avian Stainless is committed to safe play for parrots of all sizes; even our SMALLEST toys and foot toys are welded.

Are your toys Hyacinth Proof?
*We have many large toys that were specifically designed for the largest parrot species. Many of our large toys have been tested extensively by Hyacinth macaws and are approved enthusiastically! These products are located in the Major 'Tude toy section. Please read individual toy descriptions to select the appropriate toy(s) for your Hyacinth macaws.

Are you a "Bird-Free" store?
*Yes, we are. There are no parrots at Avian Stainless.

How long will it take for my order to ship?
*We're a small Mom & Pop family business but growing rapidly! Processing delays should be expected especially during peak seasons or Toy Sales. Several of our large parrot toys are labor-intensive and in extremely high demand; these toys can take several weeks to make.

I see a new toy just added to your web site. Can I add items to my order? If so, how?
*Yes, we can easily add toys to an unprocessed order. In other words, if your order has NOT been shipped, simply email us at :  with the name of the toy(s) you'd like to add. We will send a secure invoice and add the toy(s) to your order. Please keep in mind, if you're adding several toys, the shipping rate may need to be adjusted. If applicable, the additional postal fees will be included in your invoice.

My Green Wing macaw bends & opens o-rings. Do you have heavy-duty o-rings?
*We use custom-made, extra thick o-rings for our largest parrot toys. Impossible for large parrots to bend or break them!

I have an idea for a few stainless steel toys. Do you accept custom orders?
*Yes we do! Please refer to the "Custom Designed Toy" page. Details can be found there.

We own a parrot supply store and would love to carry your toys! Do you sell at wholesale level?
*We are not accepting new wholesale accounts at present. Thank you for your interest in Avian Stainless!

Can I pick up my order in person?
*We are an "on-line" store only. Please contact us to arrange delivery if you're in our area.

Do you sell gift certificates?
*Yes we do. Simply email us for further information.

How are your toy orders shipped?
*Canada Post is our parcel carrier. Parcels are shipped with on-line tracking available for most orders. Under-weight packages may not be eligible for tracking. International orders are shipped using your choice of service. Example: prices vary depending which shipping method or speed of delivery that each customer requests.

I have a Green Cheek Conure; he is rough with his toys. Which of your toys is best for him?
*Check the Bit 'O Sass toy section. We have some great welded toys that are designed for small, rowdy birds!
